Last week we introduced you to Larry Briar, P.E. with our Special Projects Division (SPD). The Special Projects Division at Rose Paving was created to research and develop eco-friendly solutions. From this division came the launch of a special service line called Green Paving Solutions™ (GPS). In an effort to pioneer the way to better paving practices, we began offering eco-friendly alternatives in addition to our existing line of conventional services to help reduce energy, waste, and pollution. Environmentally friendly options encompass a significant portion of the work SPD executes.

Rose Paving Opens Satellite Office in Streamwood, IL

Bridgeview, IL (July 2011) – Ed Campbell, President of Rose Paving Co., announced today that the company has continued its expansion efforts by opening a satellite office in Streamwood, IL. The new location is now open for business and is managed by Rose Paving’s Vice President, Tim Chimack, who currently oversees a portion of regional sales for the company. The expansion is necessary to accommodate growth and provide the organization with much-needed space for current and future employees.

Infrared Asphalt Repair: Video

Infrared asphalt technology is an effective solution for critical repairs. This unique method blends hot-mix asphalt right in with the original and then compacts the area to create a seamless restoration. If you notice potholes–especially in high-traffic areas, pavement heaving or uneven surfaces surrounding catch basins (this is a common problem resulting after several freeze-thaw cycles), or rough surfaces in drive lanes or parking stalls, it is a good idea to consider infrared repair.
