Supporting our men and women in uniform in our communities and beyond

We are so thankful for the men and women who serve our country honorably, and are proud to have so many veterans as part of the Rose Paving family. We make a conscious decision to hire veterans as we find that their dedication, loyalty, and hard work go a long way both in and outside of the office. Please read on to learn more about how we support our veterans in the office and the greater community.

Recognizing our Veterans Every Day

While Veterans Day is a great time to recognize the men and women who protect our country, we think it’s important to pay respect to our nation and veterans every day. One of our goals for the coming year is to have American flags at all of our locations. Across our six American branch offices, there are 19 veterans.

Giving Back to the Greater Community

Community outreach is central to Rose Paving culture, and it’s important to us that our charities reflect our employees’ interests and passions. Rose Paving is a proud supporter of K9s for Warriors, which provides dogs to soldiers with post-traumatic stress disability or traumatic brain injury. We also recently donated to the United Service Organization in one of our veteran’s name to honor him for an extraordinary act of bravery and kindness.

Beyond charitable giving, we know the importance of getting our hands dirty and putting in the work. For the past eight years, Rose Paving has worked with the Home Depot Foundation to help rebuild veteran communities. Most recently, three of our executives traveled to West Virginia to rebuild a community that was destroyed by flooding. It was an honor to put our years of experience in paving and construction to work for a great cause.

“I am very thankful for the business relationship we have with The Home Depot,” said Rose Paving COO Chris Tanner. “I wholeheartedly support their foundation and its positive impact on our nation’s veterans.”

All in all, we want to recognize the men and women in uniform who bravely served our country to defend the freedoms we hold dear. Thank you, all, for your service.
