Larry Briar, P.E.
Larry Briar, P.E., Director, Special Projects & Engineering, is a 15-year veteran of the civil site design and construction industry, focusing his career on the management of numerous complex real estate development and infrastructure revitalization projects. Currently, Larry leads the Special Projects Division focusing on growth; client relations and development; and operational enhancement. Larry earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Bradley University in 1998. Prior to Rose Paving, he served as the Vice President of Operations for a regional engineering firm and Vice President of Land Development for Pulte Homes, the nation’s largest homebuilder.
Jon Rae, Estimator, is a 25-year veteran in the construction industry with experience in both residential and commercial construction - pertaining to construction management, design and customer service. Jon is currently working as an Estimator for the Special Projects Division. He earned a Construction Management Degree from Michigan State University. Jon previously served as Division Construction Manager for Centex Homes, formerly the nation’s third largest builder, as well as Project Manager for other large Chicago area home builders.
Fred Coleman, Senior Project Manager, has eight years experience in the commercial construction industry and has been managing parking lot repair projects with Rose Paving since 2008. Fred is a LEED Green Associate, and is currently working towards his MBA at Northeastern University. Always maintaining a safe jobsite, Fred has 30 hours of OSHA certification. Community relations is of utmost importance to Fred, as he worked in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and started the Philanthropy Committee at Rose Paving in 2011.
Bill Keller, Director of Operations: California, has eight years project management experience in the residential and commercial construction industry and has been managing parking lot repair projects with Rose Paving since 2008. Bill graduated from the University of Illinois in 2004 with a degree in Construction Management, and has experience managing projects both regionally and nationally. Always devoted to a safe construction site, Bill has 30 hours of OSHA certification.
Lee VanGuilder, Senior Project Manager, is a highly skilled professional with over 20 years of in-depth construction, design, project management and cost estimating experience. Lee is customer service-oriented with a proven ability to provide team-spirited leadership. Lee is extremely focused on identifying potential problem areas, minimizing issues, and formulating and executing competent solutions. He has served as a Senior Project Manager for both National and Regional divisions at Rose Paving and brings a very diverse skill set to the Special Projects Division.
