Rose Paving gives back

Meet the organizations we champion this holiday season and beyond.

A key component of Rose Paving culture is to contribute to our communities and leave places better than when we found them. Throughout the year, Rose Paving employees all over the continent get together to carry out this mission, whether it’s by organizing donation drives in the office, handing out water at charity runs or participating in building projects for communities in need. This holiday season, Rose Paving will continue this legacy by making donations to charitable organizations on behalf of our clients and employees.

“While the holidays are a time for giving, we wanted our corporate gifts to go further and benefit some incredible organizations,” said COO Chris Tanner. Instead of buying gifts, Rose Paving prompts clients and employees to select a cause to support and will make a donation in their name to that organization.

Meet the organizations that the Rose Paving community is honored to support this holiday season and beyond.

Maria Matters Breast Cancer Charity

Maria Matters is named for Maria Madden, who lost her battle to breast cancer very early in life.  Madden packed gift baskets full of items that would make patients feel more comfortable while going through chemotherapy. Donations go toward providing baskets for patients going through treatments and the foundation’s other initiatives.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

St. Jude has completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. By housing research and patient care under one roof, St. Jude aims to find cures for children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research

The V Foundation was founded by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano to achieve victory over cancer. Since its start in 1993, the V Foundation has awarded over $170 million in cancer research grants nationwide and is one of the premier supporters of cutting-edge cancer research funds.

Ronald McDonald House Charities

Since 1974, RMHC has helped keep families with sick children together and close to the medical resources that they need. Whether they’re covering the expense of families staying together in a new city or bringing basic medical care to a vulnerable community, RMHC is dedicated to helping families access care.

Folds of Honor

Founded in 2007 by Major Dan Rooney, Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. The organization aims to pay tribute to American service members and their families and has awarded more than 20,000 scholarships to date.
