WHAT IS GRIP-FLEX?

GRIP-FLEX is an innovative thermoplastic resin binder, specifically formulated to be blended with special-grade aggregates to form a fuel and skid-resistant surfacing on asphalt and concrete pavements. It also omits lower volatile organic compounds (VOC’s).

MORE TRACTION. LESS SKIDDING.

GRIP-FLEX binds aggregate permanently in place to either concrete or asphalt. The aggregate doesn’t get washed away by rains, so the surface retains its skid resistance over time.

NO FADING OVER TIME.

Unlike asphalt, GRIP-FLEX won't become splotchy or bleach
out and turn gray. GRIP-FLEX will keep its original beautiful rich, black color, making the surface look new even after many years of wear.

DESIGN MIX

11 lbs. STA-LIT per Gal.
Coverage Rate - .65 Gal./Sq. Yd.

WHAT MAKES GRIP-FLEX SO DURABLE?

The unique formula makes GRIP-FLEX resilient and prevents it from becoming brittle. GRIP-FLEX can stretch five times its length and then recover 40% of that length in one minute. This elasticity allows GRIP-FLEX to expand and contract with the underlying pavement, and keep it from cracking as a result of weathering.

BETTER SURFACE PROTECTION.

GRIP-FLEX won’t disintegrate like asphalt or concrete because water, oils, fuels, and even de-icing agents can't penetrate its surface. Liquids stay on top where they'll evaporate without causing problems or damage.
