Rose Paving Goes Green with Environmentally Friendly Company Vehicles

BRIDGEVIEW, IL – July, 2007

Rose Paving Company, an industry leader in parking lot management solutions and services, announced today the intention to provide its entire sales and operations team with eco-friendly Ford Escape Hybrid company vehicles by the end of 2007. This half-million-dollar initiative reflects Rose Paving’s concern towards environmental conservation in its every day business practice. With over 25 employees currently driving company vehicles to job sites or client offices, use of hybrid vehicles will significantly help minimize exhaust emissions and maximize fuel efficiency.

“We recognize the growing trend towards implementing environmentally friendly or ‘green’ alternatives to operate and maintain businesses. Not only is this an important issue facing our clients in the facilities maintenance industry, but it is also highly valued by Rose Paving,” explained Ed Campbell, president. “Even though asphalt is an environmentally friendly substance, the asphalt industry does not come to mind when the topic concerns environmental conservation. As an organization, we want to change that perception.”

The goal is to equip all employees who are required to drive a company car with a hybrid by the end of the year. Although the vehicle model will change, the signature red color along with the Rose Paving logo and contact information will remain the same. Campbell continues, “After spotting our fleet on the road, it is our hope that other paving and construction companies will follow suit; together, we can make a positive impact on our environment and save money.”
