Rose Paving Celebrates Labor Day
Another successful paving season with our family and crew
Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer and honors the contributions that workers make to the well-being of the country every day. What better time to celebrate the winding down of a successful paving season?
On top of the opening of our Phoenix branch, we’ve been working around the clock to sealcoat and stripe parking lots around the country. The season has been good to us, and our crewmembers finished a record number of jobs to high praise.
It hasn’t been all work and no play. Rose Paving encourages employees to take time off to see their family and see the world. Last year, we asked our employees to bring the traveling truck along on their summer adventures. The toy truck made it to site evaluations and graduation celebrations, amusement parks and sports games.
This year, we have been #SendingTheSteamroller on adventures spanning from Ireland to Chicago. We found this initiative a good way to remind our employees to take vacation days, spend time with family and bring a little piece of Rose Paving with them while they’re at it. Check out some of the pictures below.
We’re spending Labor Day with friends and family, and we hope you do the same. We believe the holiday should be stress-free, so here are some of our team members’ go-to dishes for potlucks and barbeques.
Fingerling Potato Salad – A simple crowd-pleaser that has a place at every barbecue.
Grilled Buffalo Chicken Sandwich – A delicious substitute for your typical burger.
Grilled Balsamic Chicken Cobb Salad – A healthy addition to any gathering that’ll please the whole crew.
Charred Corn Salad – This easy-to-make dish works as a salad as well as a topping for tacos, burgers and more.
