BRIDGEVIEW, IL – May, 2007
Rose Paving staff and family members will take their mark, get set, and go on Saturday, June 16th, in the 3rd Annual Burr Ridge 5K Run/Walk and Corporate Challenge to benefit the Ray Graham Association’s Hanson Center and its horsemanship and service dog programs.
"Serving the communities in which our employees live and work is a priority for us at Rose Paving. We are honored to be able to sponsor this event and support the extraordinary efforts of the Hanson Center and its animal service program for people with disabilities,” said Alan Rose, CEO.
The run/walk will take place at the Marriott Chicago Southwest, 1200 Burr Ridge Parkway, Burr Ridge, IL. The race is not only a draw for serious runners, but it's also a great event for recreational runners, families, and spectators. It features a 5K (3.1-mile) run/walk for adults, with awards for top adult performers, and a kids dash. A free, family expo with food, music, raffle prizes, and more will also be a part of the day's festivities. The organizers expect over 300 participants and the goal is to raise $10,000 for the Center’s animal service programs.
Race day registration begins at 6:30 am with the race starting promptly at 8:00 am. For further race information, please call 630-850-4050 or register online at www.active.com.
